Do you like to make funky and unusual things? This workshop is for children who want to learn about what made Pablo Picasso so famous, why his work is so unusual, about abstract art, and what we can learn and use in our own art. We will look at some of Picasso’s pieces and play a game to learn more about his style. The majority of our time will be spent creating our own large (approximately 2-foot x 1.5-foot) Picasso-inspired face. We will use cardboard, oil and/or chalk pastels, and learn some 3-D tricks for our masterpieces.
