Take 3 KAN classes in the same year and receive a $15 credit toward a future KAN class, or toward a 1-year KAN membership fee. Offer not available to Life Drawing sessions.
Cancellation Policy
With 7 days notice, we will offer a credit or refund. With less than 7 days but at least 48 hours notice, we will offer a credit. Otherwise, no refund or credit will be given, including if a student does not attend. We thank you for your continued support and cooperation.
Gov't Protocols
KAN will be following protocols regarding COVID-19 that are in place at the time this class occurs.
For this class, you will need to prepare a canvas in advance either with black gesso or acrylic paint. The class will begin with a sketch of your design using orange paint and discussion of the colour palette. You will paint lighter values in the morning and move into mid and darker values in the afternoon. Jane will do demonstrations and personal critiques while you work on your painting.
Note: This class is not suitable for absolute beginners who have little or no experience. Novice painters with some experience are welcome.

Materials:
Please bring all supplies as per Jane’s materials list. Prepare your canvas in advance and ensure it has had time to dry. In advance of the class, Jane will send a reference photo for you to use to do a simple sketch on your own before class. This will help you become familiar with the subject before you start painting.
