$ Multi-class Credit

Take 2 KAN classes in the same year and receive a $15 credit toward a future KAN class, or toward a 1-year KAN membership fee. Offer not available for Life Drawing sessions.

Cancellation Policy

With 7 days notice, we will offer a credit or refund. With less than 7 days but at least 48 hours notice, we will offer a credit. Otherwise, no refund or credit will be given, including if a student does not attend. We thank you for your continued support and cooperation.

Gov't Protocols

KAN will be following protocols regarding COVID-19 that are in place at the time this class occurs.

Explore basic Encaustic techniques using beeswax encaustic and hot wax techniques. You will learn safe studio practices, including using hot tools such as heat guns and hot palettes, and about controlling brush strokes. You will also explore colour mixing, texturing, layering/glazing, scraping, and etching. Time permitting, we might also explore the photo transfer technique.
