$ Multi-class Credit

Take 3 KAN classes in the same year and receive a $15 credit toward a future KAN class, or toward a 1-year KAN membership fee. Offer not available to Life Drawing sessions.

Cancellation Policy

With 7 days notice, we will offer a credit or refund. With less than 7 days but at least 48 hours notice, we will offer a credit. Otherwise, no refund or credit will be given, including if a student does not attend. We thank you for your continued support and cooperation.

Gov't Protocols

KAN will be following protocols regarding COVID-19 that are in place at the time this class occurs.

Acrylic mediums have exploded on the art market. But … what are they? What do you use them for? How do you use them? In this 2.5-hour demo, we will explore acrylic mediums through demos and explanations. Discussions will be welcome as we discover and share how they behave and how they can help us express form and colour. We’ll discuss tips and tricks, durability, tools, and surfaces.

Note: This demo is not about acrylic paint. It’s about acrylic “mediums” otherwise known as additives and accompaniments to acrylic paint, such as matte and gel mediums, flow mediums, texture mediums, liquid mediums, etc.

If you want to personalize a sample kit to take home based on what piques your interest, 1 oz. samples will be available ranging from $2 to $4 per sample.
