Jewell Allington

Painting. Northern landscapes. Bold Strokes.
Impressionism. Cadmium Orange.

Jewell Allington

Jewell Allington is a Peterborough-based oil painter. Jewell’s art is a clear example of the brilliant landscapes of the Kawarthas’ and Georgian Bay areas. She captures the beauty of the changing seasons with the richness of their colour … as light creates a brilliance or shadows cast reflections on the water.

Beginning with a black canvas and then defining structures with cadmium orange…. her finished landscapes exude depth, bold strokes, and a luscious application of colour …with hints of warm reds peeking through.
Clients are drawn to the loose, impressionistic interpretation of the “all too familiar” and loved vistas of our North.
