It is also very forgiving and can be reworked easily until you achieve the result you want. Cold wax has a thick texture that can be carved into for dramatic effect and can be a wonderful base for collage. \nIn this class we will explore the possibilities of painting with cold wax on thick cotton paper suitable for framing and on wooden boards. It uses inexpensive materials and equipment\, requires no press\, and has the unique characteristic of not having to reverse the reference material. The printed image appears just like the original. This simple technique requires no previous experience to produce delightful prints\, whether its monoprints or multiples (an edition).
