Screenprinting is one of the oldest forms of printmaking. It uses inexpensive materials and equipment, requires no press, and has the unique characteristic of not having to reverse the reference material. The printed image appears just like the original. This simple technique requires no previous experience to produce delightful prints, whether its monoprints or multiples (an edition). This workshop covers all the basic requirements: equipment, materials, inking of the screen, developing the image on the screen, clean up and editioning.
