In this one-day class, “Photography Tips for Artists,” I’ll teach you practical ways to photograph your art. If you’re an artist—painting, sculpting, or any visual form—this crash course is about using photography to enhance your creative toolbox.

Learn composition, lighting, and perspective tips to make your art pop in photos. We’ll dive into camera settings and simple post-processing hacks to make your work stand out without drowning you in technical jargon.

This class is for artists looking to level up their photography skills in just a day. We will start in the classroom learning about the exposure triangle and composition, then move onto actual practice taking photos of different art pieces (both framed and not framed), and finally, out on the beautiful Kawartha Lakes trails, where you can learn how to photograph nature, which will inspire your next art piece.
