Take 3 KAN classes in the same year and receive a $15 credit toward a future KAN class, or toward a 1-year KAN membership fee. Offer not available to Life Drawing sessions.

Cancellation Policy

With 7 days notice, we will offer a credit or refund. With less than 7 days but at least 48 hours notice, we will offer a credit. Otherwise, no refund or credit will be given, including if a student does not attend. We thank you for your continued support and cooperation.

In this workshop for beginners, explore the possibilities of block-printing on textiles as printmaker Jacquie Sullivan guides you through the use of the tools of the trade to experiment with linocut carving techniques, application of ink, and printing on fabric without a press. Turn a simple design of your own into attractive functional art by hand-printing on tea towels, tote bags, and more! Why not make something for Mom, or bring her along for an early gift of time spent together! No experience necessary.

Materials fee: $40 payable to the instructor at class

Please bring to class:

  • your design ideas
  • an art smock or paint shirt
  • a couple of tea towels, tote bags, OR similar items you wish to print on – pre-washed & ironed – smooth and natural fabrics are best
