In this fun and interactive workshop, you will create a mixed media collage piece using collage papers you design yourself using speedball gel plates and block printing inks. The gel plates allow you to create monotype prints without a printing press and we will investigate this process during the morning of our workshop.
In the afternoon you will use your handmade collage papers along with your acrylic paints (craft paints are fine too), and any collage materials you bring, to complete your piece on a wood panel or other support. This is a fun and expressive way to create art.
