Drawing. Painting. Plein air. Life drawing.
RoseMarie Condon often explores wilderness areas and rural settings throughout Ontario. From her studio in Fenelon Falls she enjoys having ready access to the natural world and rural communities. RoseMarie uses on-location sketches in pencil or watercolour as well as photographs to refresh her visual memory when studio painting the fleeting affects of light and atmospheric moods of nature.
Plein air painting and life drawing at the Kawartha Arts Network are two of RoseMarie’s greatest interests. There is no better way to keep eye, hand coordination honed.
A tireless promoter of the importance of the arts RoseMarie was recently honoured to be declared the City of Kawartha Lakes 2016 “Artist of the Year”.
