Laurie Johnson

Mosaic dabbler. Art journal experimenter. Unique flair.

Laurie Johnson

Landscapes in acrylics, mixed media works, mosaics.

Art has been a life-long passion for Laurie. She began her art exploration by painting landscapes in oils. She switched to using acrylics in 2000, emphasizing the interplay between man-made structures and the natural world.

Over the last seven years, her interests have expanded through taking several art courses at the Haliburton School of Art and Design. Presently Laurie dabbles in mosaics, but spends most of her time creating mixed media art works or experimenting in her art journals.

Recently opening Laurie’s Creation Station at 29 Alpine road, Lindsay, she showcases her own and others’ work and brings her unique artistic flair to classes and workshops.
